In 2013, Helena was recognized by Business Insider as one of the Most Creative Women in Advertising. Through TBWA\MAL, she launched an award-winning environmental campaign for Conservation International called ‘Nature is Speaking,’ which received worldwide acclaim and was awarded a Gold Lion in the 2015 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. While working at TBWA\Chiat\Day in Los Angeles, Helena was recognized for crafting the stunning new visual identity for Crate&Barrel that catapulted the brand to the national stage with the iconic “&” campaign. Helena’s strong visual sense can also be seen in her work for Target, Apple iPhone, Gatorade, Diet Pepsi and the renowned Visa Olympics campaign. 

With 12 years of experience working at agencies like TBWA\MAL, Deutsch Los Angeles, and TBWA\Chiat\Day. Helena served as the Executive Creative Director for Pitch in Los Angeles. There, she lead the charge on the Waldorf Astoria & Beverly Hilton accounts in addition to all major new business and current client projects for the agency.

The last 4 years Helena was a Creative Director at 72 and Sunny. Her latest work includes the launch of the Google Pixel Night Sight campaign where it took on iPhone head-on in the war for the best low-light pictures. Previously, she led teams on Starbucks for their holiday campaign, shattering records and delivering the highest-grossing day of sales in the brand’s history. On Carls’ Jr., she was proud to be at the helm of the major brand pivot in which food became the focus, not boobs.

She has always been a strong believer in the power of pure simple messaging that resonates deeply with consumers.
